Colores Learning Center in Cary, NC is a preschool focused on learning through exploring, creating, and making friends. We help children achieve their learning goals by creating a safe environment full of hands-on materials so kids can explore, practice, draw, paint, count, make music, dress up, and have fun!  We accept kids that are 2 ½ - 5 years old. We strive to create a spirit of belonging for all kids. We engage them in activities based on their individual needs. Our younger kids learn from the older kids and we love the 2 1/2-5 year old ages, because it's the perfect age for kids to start practicing independence via potty training, serving their own snack, and cleaning up. We are proud to serve as a top preschool in Cary!

Meet Ms. Jessy

Mrs. Jesade Cisneros (Ms. Jessy)  is originally from Mexico and has lived in the Triangle area for the past 14 years. She has a degree in International Trade and began teaching English as a Second Language in college. After graduation Ms. Jessy worked at  a bilingual preschool and taught classes to middle school students. She completed a year of her Masters in Education and then became a mother herself and dedicated her time to raising her kids. During her time as a stay at home mom, Ms. Jessy also taught the 4-7 year old group at her church's Sunday school and tutored local students in Spanish. Once her youngest child started preschool she joined a Montessori School in Raleigh as the lead teacher for ages 18m-3 years old. Then 5 years ago Ms. Jessy and her family moved to Cary, looking for a small, family-oriented city where everything is close by. She began working at local preschools and daycare centers teaching Spanish, Music, and Yoga for kids 2-5 years old. Inspired by her experience and her passion for creativity and adventure, Ms. Jessy founded Colores Learning Center in 2017.  Her mission is to provide a space that kids can feel at home in to facilitate growth and independence. She combines real-life applications, nature exploration, arts, and movement in school to foster confidence and appreciation in the kids.
